I woke up this morning to this. Thank goodness the kids are on Spring Break or they probably would have had a snow day!

We have broken all snow records and the snow continues. The National Weather Service said 93.6 inches of snow has been recorded at Spokane International Airport this winter, breaking the record set in 1949-50 by a tenth of an inch. A snow storm on Sunday, March 29, has made this the snowiest winter on record in Spokane. Last year was the 2nd snowiest winter on record at 92.6 inches. And don't forget, we broke the record December 17 and 18th for the most snow in one 24 hour period, 17 inches. Then we broke the record for the snowiest December ever at over 60 inches, but the truth is all 5 feet of that snow happened within 2 weeks. December 16th we had not received an ounce of snow yet for the month.

Actually, the temperature has been steadily increasing over the past 100 years. It has also been steadily decreasing over the past 10 years. Also, it has been pretty stable the last 10,000 years. Before that, the temperature changed like crazy. :) Love you!
