Jonathan comes home

Although it was for a very sad reason, we are so grateful to have Jonathan home. Because Ashley's Dad was so sick, I picked Jonathan up at the Salt Lake Airport and took him straight to the Veteran's hospital. I had Faith & Logan with me. It was so touching, watching Jonathan's absolute joy in seeing his children for the first time in 9 months.

Dad was so excited and so sad to not be at the airport, that he stayed on the phone with me the whole time so he could hear me pick up Jonathan. Here's Jonathan talking to his Dad on the phone at the airport.

Then it was very touching to see Jonathan & Ashley together for the first time in 9 months.

We stayed at Jared & Heidi's in Syracuse. Jared & Heidi were perfect hosts. Thank you Jared & Heidi for letting us come and go all week. Aren't they cute with their strollers?

Grandpa & Grandma Ruth stopped by Jared & Heidi's.

We stopped on the way back to Spokane and stayed at Angela & Ryan's in Meridian. Thanks also Angela & Ryan for letting us come and go all week.

Home

Home with Ashley, Faith & Logan has been so much fun!

Bringing Ashley home

May 24th, I flew to St. George to bring Ashley home to stay with us for awhile. It was a wonderful trip because I got to see so many of my children and grandchildren. The only one I missed was Jonathan, because I didn't get to fly to Iraq (I missed you Jonathan).

Emily picked me up and I stayed with her and Josh Thursday night.

Friday night, Ashley, Logan, Faith and I drove to Jared & Heidi's new house, and spent the night with them.

While we were driving up from Jared's to Angela, Dad, Alyssa, Bradley, Tanner & Kaylee were driving down to Angela's. We were all together at Angela & Ryan's Saturday night.

Baseball Season

Dad's on a senior softball team. This weekend he was also on a team sponsored by "Wired" energy drinks. It was pretty fun to watch these 50 year olds + wired! Dad's in the back row, 3rd from the right.
