Easter is Officially Over!

Our friend, Danelle, likes to have her Easter Egg hunt when the whether warms up so it's always after Easter. The girls made me walk to her house. It was a long way but a nice day.Faith was so scared of the Easter Bunny that it took a long time to get this picture. Do you recognize the Easter Bunny? The cutest one I've ever seen!

Lately they've been inseparable.

So, according to Alyssa, Easter is now officially over in our house anyway.

EASTER

ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Walk softly and carry a big carrot. Everyone needs a friend who is all ears. There's no such thing as too much candy. All work and no play can make you a basket case...

EASTER MORNING

Kep's getting ready for the egg hunt

Angela said once that everyone should have a "Kep" and she's right. Kep has been such a gift in my life since the day I met her in typing class in high school. We had Miss Ponce and she separated Linda and I because we talked to much and put me right next to Kep. That's how we met. (I just thought you kids would like to know that.)

Anyway, Kaylee and I went to Kep's Tuesday night to help her stuff 1296 (yes-you read that right) eggs for the hunt at her house on Saturday. We had so much fun-as much fun as we have at one of her parties even.

Here are the eggs before we began.

Brandi felt awful but sure looked beautiful-especially for what she's going through! Here she is filling the bowls with candy. I believe there were about 8 of these big bowls filled all the way.
Kep, giving a job to Kaylee and Jordan. Here we are stuffing eggs.

The prize table.
Stay tuned. Pictures of the hunt at her house Saturday-coming up.

Egg Coloring

Kaylee loves all of her neices and nephews so much. She's lucky enough to have Faith and Logan upstairs. She picked these Easter things out at the store for Faith and Logan. She set up the little table and chairs then ran upstairs to get the kids.

She boiled the eggs and made the dyes and then they colored eggs.

Then Sunday she took these pictures of Faith and Logan in their church clothes.

Not April Fools!

I woke up this morning to this. Thank goodness the kids are on Spring Break or they probably would have had a snow day!

We have broken all snow records and the snow continues. The National Weather Service said 93.6 inches of snow has been recorded at Spokane International Airport this winter, breaking the record set in 1949-50 by a tenth of an inch. A snow storm on Sunday, March 29, has made this the snowiest winter on record in Spokane. Last year was the 2nd snowiest winter on record at 92.6 inches. And don't forget, we broke the record December 17 and 18th for the most snow in one 24 hour period, 17 inches. Then we broke the record for the snowiest December ever at over 60 inches, but the truth is all 5 feet of that snow happened within 2 weeks. December 16th we had not received an ounce of snow yet for the month.

Can you say Global Warming?
