Golfing with Dad

Dad loves to golf. During golf season, we don't see much of him--unless we go with him, which I did a lot this year.

Dad's foursome that day.

Dad hit his ball on someone's porch so he went up and got it.

Dad couldn't believe where the ball landed. He had to go straight through these trees. He had to take a picture.

The fake swans to scare away the geese. I just thought that was funny. I don't know why.

Ang, these clouds are for you.

Dad and George are buds on the golf course.

Jonathan's even been out with Dad but by the look on both of their faces, I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Father's Day

Father's Day Dad woke up to this from Jonathan:
So, what Dad wanted more than anything for Father's Day was to golf in a tournament and for me (Mom) to go with him. So I did. The only problem was it rained all day. I have never seen anything quite like this. They don't quit playing just because it is POURING rain!

They hold umbrellas over each other, but not during the actual putt. That would be a penalty.

They all huddle under the trees.

Kaylee was very creative with her Father's Day gift. Yes, she crossed "Mother's" off the balloon still left over from last month and wrote in "Father's"

Here's the plaque we bought Dad.

Angela hand delivered licorice.

Alyssa's card.

We had a big steak barbecue for Dad, Jonathan, Jason and Bradley but I was so wet and cold and tired from golf that I didn't take any photos. I know you are surprised that I didn't take photos, but I really didn't.
