Memorial Day at the Spears

We had a wonderful weekend at Angela, Ryan, Kathleen, Brandon & Cody's house. Anytime you go out, Cody grabs his backpack full of toys. He was so cute too. Whenever you would mention anything about college he would say, "Wissy goes to college," or "I'm going to college with Wissy." Ryan is coaching Kathleen and Brandon's t-ball team and had practice Saturday morning. Angela helps.

Marianne also came for the weekend.

Tanner found he could play catch without standing up.

Kaylee would toss it to him.

She finally got tired of standing so they sat and tossed the ball.

Kathleen got a "home run" according to her!

Angela got tired of baseball and danced instead.

Ryan is certified to be Predator Free until December 31st. January 1 all bets are off.

Swimming in their pool.

Brandon was always Grandpa's boy. I asked him when he would be Grandma's boy and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Picnic at the park.

Brandon got his shoes stuck in deep mud. He's carrying them here to wash them off.

There was this amazing fountain. When Cody saw it, he pointed at it and said, "Look at the water." I said, "Isn't that pretty?" He said, "No, it's cute."

This is Angela, Alyssa and Marianne trying to figure out the Geo Cashing.

Ryan retrieved the Geo Cashe that Marianne found.

Kaylee won the Apples to Apples Crown.

Angela set a beautiful table for our Sunday dinner.

Grandpa had big wheel duty on one of our many walks.
Thanks girls for taking this picture. I love it!

May Birthday Week

Jonathan's 26th birthday. He let Logan blow out the candle.----But wait, that's not all. May was always such a novelty in our family with the 4 birthdays in 11 days. I didn't have my other kids home this year, but they sure were in my heart.

Jared turned 30 (but not before being 29 with Angela for 6 days!)
Angela turned 29.

I don't have a picture of Emily who turned 24 on Nonna's birthday (I don't have a picture of Nonna either).

But I do have a picture of Brandon who decided to join his mother and aunt and uncles in the May birthdays and turned 5 on Jared's birthday.

Mother's Day

I had such a special Mother's Day this year. I am so touched by my children and their father and even my work.

I came home from church to this from Jonathan and Ashley.

Carmel apple and sugarfree chocolates from Dad, cute lamp from RAKBC-Ryan, Angela, Kathleen, Brandon and Cody, yellow tulips from Alyssa and orange flowers from Dad.

Kaylee saved her money and bought me this cake and card.

Dad barbecued the giant steaks Jonathan bought.

I love Sundays when everyone upstairs comes down for dinner.
This is how the flowers opened. They are so pretty.

What a sweet note from Tanner:

These are the sweet cards my Spear granchildren made for me:

This was really special. One of the girls I work with gave this card to me.
