Dad and I had a wonderful, too quick trip to California.
Here's dad, in Ellensburg, "taking the bull by the horns."
On the way there's is this really cool place, you kids may remember stopping when you were younger, called Mountain Identifier. You stand on one spot and look at the ground at a semi-circle which has arrows labeling and pointing to the gigantic, beautiful mountains you are seeing. The left picture is Mt. Hood, next is Mt. St. Helens, next is Mt. Adams. Well, you get the idea. It was a beautiful day, but not clear enough to see any of the moutains.

Nonna.
Uncle Tony and Caralyn.
By the way, Caralyn entered a video contest Avril Levigne was having to do your own video to her song, "I don't like your girlfriend." Caralyn was one of the top 10 in the nation and they put her video on Avril's website. Here's a link if you would like to see it. http://www.bebo.com/FlashBox.jsp?FlashBoxId=4161411271& It's really quite good!
Pepere & Dad
Pepere's greenhouse. Here's another plant that he took a cut off, stuck in dirt and it grew. He doesn't even start the plant first. He does this with roses and all kind of plants.
Pere, Nonna and Mom.
I'm not sure why Uncle Tony decided to climb into the new chicken coop Pere just made, but here he is.
Nonna's chickens in the garage.
Caralyn has bunnies.
Uncle Tony cooked us dinner. Notice the fire on the stove.
Aunt Shish came over.
Uncle Tony's family called Dad the Risk Man, because he always plays Risk with them when we go visit. Their Risk game had disappeared (Aunt Lani was cleaning), so we resorted to Outburst. Dad, Uncle Tony and Sean were on one team and the girls, Aunt Lani, Caralyn and Mom were on the other. It was very fun.

At this time of year, Tony's dragon is always up, as well as the Enchanted Forest. This year, Tony was a little behind. The dragon was laying on the ground.
It was very funny to see Uncle Tony at work. He is the IT guy at the high school that we went to. It was very strange to walk around Prospect High again (after 30 years), and even stranger to hear all the high school kids saying, "Hi, Mr. Hamel."
Aunt Sue has this incredible movie room with super comfortable recliners and over 2000 movies. We put on our pjs and watched, "Are we done yet?"
Breakfast at IHOP.

Wow, what a fun trip. I would never guess that you were the oldest kid, you are the shortest anyway. Ha ha. Carolyn's video is pretty impressive. and Uncle Tony looks like Pere. It is scary.
