Today was sooooooooooo scary! Tanner got hit in the head with a softball at P.E. and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. That is one of the scariest phone calls you will ever get. He's ok now. He has a concusion and a great big knot on his forehead that you can kind-of see in the photo. But all is well. He wants to make it very clear to everyone, that the important thing is that he got the kid out. He caught the ball before it hit him in the head!

How do you catch a ball, then get hit in the head with it? I have to say Tanner, that is a talent I must know about.
At least you got a huge bump doing something you loved. Your story is way better than the one I concocted in my head about how you were skipping happily through a field of daisies. Suddenly you tripped on a little twig, and fell right onto a small pebble, that left a welt the size of a softball. That's the story I thought of for you. Use it if you choose.
Oh my gosh, that looks horrible! Happy he's ok. Oh and uhh...how do you catch a softball and then get hit in the head with it?
