In 1995, Emily had eye surgery. Her room at Valley Hospital had a wallpaper border with shoes that they allowed the patients to sign. Emily signed the shoe. She had the greatest nurse, Maurine, who we all called Mo Mo. A few months later Tanner was born and had jaundice and had Mo Mo. The next year Kaylee was born and had jaundice and had Mo Mo. Last summer, Tanner had that room, and had Mo Mo again and was old enough to sign the shoe. Guess what room Mom had this week, and guess who was her nurse? You are right-the shoe room and Mo Mo. Wow! How crazy is that?
That is so weird! It must be your room. I don't know what you will ever do if someone has to go to the hospital and they don't get that room.
That is funny. The first thing I said when I saw that picture was, "That must be Maurine." Turns out I was right. She just looked so familiar.
